        FESTIVAL OF UNITY

        Fond memories of a rich history as Governor
        Ali Roba (far right) emerges from a traditional
        hut to proudly lead celebrations marking
        the first Somali Cultural Festival depicting
        warriors of yore, song, dance and the
        nourishment of camel milk. Mandera people
        have truly not forgotten  their past as they
        march into a new frontier of transformation.
