             overnor Ali Roba’s administration is aware that edu-
             cation is critical to the development of Mandera
        GCounty. That’s why the county government part-
        nered with other stakeholders to improve the quality of edu-
        cation in the County. The future of the people of Mandera is
        dependent on the level of academic exposure. Despite the
        fact that education is largely a national government func-
        tion, we have nonethless prioritised our involvement in the
        sector to secure the future of our population.
        The county’s Department of Education is working with key
        players like the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), Min-
        istry of Education and partners to ensure that programmes
