Governor Roba welcomes Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Dr Monica Juma as she arrives at the Mandera Airstrip for the signing of
an agreement with her Somalia counterpart Ahmed Isse Awad to deepen trade, cross-border and security relations between the two
countries. Mandera County Commissioner Olaka Kutswa and Deputy Governor Mohamed Ahmed Arai (left) were also present.

CULTURAL RENAISSANCE
Pomp and galore marked the hugely successful inaugural Somali
Cultural Festival marked with exciting traditional song and dance,
cultural displays of fashion, artifacts and rich cuisine. The women
of Mandera adorned in smart and colourful attire were an integral
part of the pulsating celebrations that lasted for three days.
