From arid zone to fresh farmlands

Mandera County, though arid and semi-arid, has the potential to
address many challenges of serving up affordable nutritious organic
foods, strengthening livelihoods, while revitalizing huge tracts of lands
that were bushes occupied by Prosopis juriflora, popularly known as
Mathenge weed. Our farmers have proved it can be done.
