Mr. Adan Dagane Hamud Was born in the year 1968. He is married and is a Kenyan citizen. He speaks fluent English, Kiswahili and Somali languages. He possess a Bachelor of Education degree from Busoga University, a Diploma in Education from Kenya institute of Education, a Diploma on Technical Education (Entrepreneurship Development) from Kenya Technical Teachers’ College, Kenya Certificate of Primary Teachers’ Examination (PTE), Kenya Certificate of Education (KCE) from Kigari Teachers’ Training College and Certificate of Primary Education (CPE) from Bulla Mpya Primary school.

He started his teaching career as a trained teacher in July 1992 where he served many schools in Mandera County.  He later joined teacher management where he served as a head teacher between 2006 and 2019 at Barwaqo Primary School before moving to Tawakal Primary school both in Mandera. He currently serves as CECM for Agriculture, Irrigation, Livestock, Fisheries and Veterinary Services in Mandera County.
