Adawa Haji Adan is the County Chief Officer for Agriculture & Irrigation. He is a well established executive with a Bsc Hons Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University and a master of Business Administration(Finance option) from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).

He is an ACCA professional and a member of the institute of internal auditors. He previously served as the County Chief Officer for Accounting and Financial Services, County Chief Officer for Roads and Public Works. Before joining the county in 2013, he was the internal auditor at Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC).
