The County Government of Mandera in collaboration with USAID-KUZA, commenced a two-day validation workshop on the Draft Monitoring & Evaluation Policy and Bill for Senior County officials and representatives from the County Assembly of Mandera at Maanzoni Lodge, Machakos County.
The workshop was officially opened by H.E. the Deputy Governor, Dr. Ali Mohamud, who commended USAID-KUZA’s effort in providing capacity development to the county public service.
The Deputy Governor futher highlighted the county administration’s commitment to inculcate an M&E culture for tracking of development projects and programmes as well as proper accountability and performance management.
The workshop was attended by the County Secretary,County Executive Committee Members ,the County Attorney, Head of Delivery unit, Head of Efficiency Monitoring Unit and Chairperson and vice Chair of the County Assembly Committee on Finance and Budget.
