Mandera County hosts BBI Rally

The Mandera County leadership hosted the BBI national secretariat chairman Hon. Junet
Mohamed for a town hall meeting at Granada hotel, Mandera town.
The meeting that was attended by elders, women and youth was aimed at highlighting the key highlights of the BBI while at the same time emphasizing on the need for the community to support it.
Consultations with the grassroots leadership (MCAs) is still pending. The Mandera leadership will jointly consult and subsequently divulge the larger content of the BBI to the community prior to the referendum.
The stakeholders showed positive indication that they will fully support the document.
