Today, Elwak Municipality Board Members held their inaugural meeting at the Mandera Municipality headquarters in a meeting presided over by the County Secretary Mr. Abdinur Maalim Hussein.
The overall objective of the meeting was the election of the Board chair and vice chairpersons as well as the election of the board sub-committees.
Mr. Said Ibrahim was elected as the board chairperson while Ms. Amina Maalim Ibrahim took the vice chairperson slot.
The members later paid a courtesy call to the office of the Mandera Municipality Manager Mr. Hassanur Abdullahi.
The County Secretary was accompanied by CEC lands Mr. Adan Hussein, CCO Finance Mr. Alinoor and CCO Lands Mrs. Zulekha.
