Governor Khalif Champions International Collaboration for Mandera’s Development During Pakistan Visit

A high-level delegation from the County Government of Mandera, led by H.E. Governor Mohamed Adan Khalif, is in Pakistan this week at the official invitation of COMSTECH—the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation’s Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation.

​The delegation is focused on forging strategic partnerships in science, technology, and innovation with leading Pakistani institutions. Key priorities include securing training, scholarships, and exchange programs for Mandera’s youth, researchers, and technical personnel, as well as exploring technical cooperation in agriculture, health, ICT, and other priority development sectors.

​This strategic engagement underscores the administration’s commitment to establishing meaningful international partnerships that address local challenges and unlock long-term opportunities for the people of Mandera.

​During a productive session with senior COMSTECH leadership, Governor Khalif reaffirmed his administration’s readiness to advance collaboration across key sectors, while expressing gratitude to COMSTECH for their warm hospitality and constructive discussions
