Mandera County Covid-19 Emergency Response Fund committee led by its chairperson Mr. Abdikadir Adan has today concluded a one-week monitoring and evaluation exercise on the Covid-19 containment measures across the seven sub-counties.
The committee comprising of four members were appointed by H.E. Governor Ali Ibrahim Roba in May 2020 to perform oversight on Covid-19 related activities and help in resource mobilization efforts.
The chairperson said “we are at war and everyone is required to take up personal responsibility to flatten the curve in the fight against Covid-19 before it spreads out of control.”
Mr. Abdikadir was accompanied by board members, Mr. Mohamed Gaiye, Mr. Abdullahi Issack and county public health officer Mr. Hassan Ali.
