Danish Refugee Council donates items to fight Covid-19

The Danish Refugee Council today donated various items to mitigate the spread of Covid-19 in Mandera County.
The DRC implementing emergency project on protection and livelihoods response on Covid-19 with funding support from Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs- DANIDA and CARE, implementing BORESHA Covid-19 response measures in collaboration with county government today flagged off hygiene kits distribution to schools and health centers. The items distributed included 4800 bar soaps, 240 sanitizers and 100 handwashing stations. The donations are aimed at benefiting Mandera East, Mandera North and Banisa sub-counties residents affected by Covid-19.The items are to help  mitigate and prevent spread of Covid-19 second wave in Mandera county.
