Ground Breaking Ceremony for Box Culvert at Livestock Market (Soko Mbuzi)

Today, the County Chief Officer Roads and Transport Mr. Abdifatah Ogle presided over the ground breaking ceremony of the Construction of Box Culvert at Livestock Market (Soko Mbuzi) in Mandera East Sub- County. According to the CCO, the contractor has mobilized the required equipment, materials and labour in the project that is expected to be completed within contract duration of July, 2022.
Excavation to achieve suitable or stable soil is in progress. Subsequent activities are expected to commence and progress in a seamless manner. Mr. Ogle while addressing the residents assured them that quality will not be compromised, adding that technical team from the department will be present throughout the project period. In return, they appreciated the effort by H.E Governor Roba’s administration for the project that once successfully completed, will ease movement of people and goods especially during rainy seasons.
Present during the ceremony was the area MCA Hon. Abdi Adan who also doubles up as the Majority leader at the County Assembly, area Chief Neboi location Mr. Abdirahim Alale and other senior county government officials.
