Elwak Municipality has concluded a 3-day intensive Induction training for its board members at the Riverside Hotel in Mandera.
Participants were trained on various topics such as roles of the board members, corporate governance, code of conduct for state corporations, risk management and strategic planning among other important topics relevant to municipalities and other state corporations.
The training was officially opened by the County Executive for Lands Mr. Adan Hussein who was also accompanied by the County chief Officer for Housing and Urban Development Mrs. Sulekha Osman.
