A team from Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) led by Ms. Esther Obaikol (Land Governance Expert – IGAD) has visited Mandera today. They confirmed that IGAD is setting up a regional office in Mandera. The staffing is already underway and they are in the process of engaging with both levels of governments.
IGAD is a critical partner to us and as such the Mandera County Administration is ready to extend any necessary support towards execution of their mandate in the region without any hitches
